Entering Week Two
The second week of a Kickstarter tends to be a time when things slow down and that seems to be what is happening. We need just over 100 backers to unlock the Full Color Poster Map! Digital backers will get the same map in PDF form. We'd appreciate you sharing this project and spreading the word to get this stretch goal unlocked even quicker!

A Deeper Delve into Dungeons
When we talk about "Compatibility with Mazes" for RETURN TO DARK TOWER Fantasy Roleplaying - we mean it. The core rules and processes in the game are the same. You can use monsters from one game interchangeably, etc. In fact, when you ENTER A DUNGEON within the framework of Return to Dark Tower - you are literally playing Mazes (just skipping over a few rules). Now, within the R2DT Rule book - its scaled back, but you can just instead run the entire game with Mazes.

Day Three: Across the Four Kingdoms

Heroes of the Four Kingdoms! Heed my Call!
As we enter day three of our campaign, we are over 750 swords strong. Our army grows, and soon we can siege the Tower and free the lands from the oppression of not having a Dark Tower roleplaying game...
A large part of the epic nature of the game is focused on traveling across the four kingdoms that make up the world - as such, we are excited to announce the 1000 backer stretch goal - a poster map!
This map can be used as a playing surface (the game board from the board game is still a better option) or a decorative hanging (always needed in the cold drafty halls of heroes).
Travel in the RPG
While playing, the heroes will have to travel across the realms to enter dungeons, haggle with lords and ladies, fight off vicious monsters, and raise their forces against the Adversary. Travel in this way is recorded by the adversary as part of the TALLY phase - figuring out how much time is spent to get heroes and their forces from region to region. Travel involves a little randomness (rolling against a travel chart) but is otherwise handled out of game - with the Heroes being at their destination - and the Adversary spending that time to unlock seals!

Note that all imagery of the Player Tower is not final. We plan to work very closely with our manufacturer's engineering team to ensure the dice roller is effective and that all components and structures are safe during shipping and general use.
You have options. Even after we make the necessary changes to the dice roller, you always have the option of using just the top half. This will still have the relevant information and act as the dice roller.

Champions of the Four Kingdoms! REJOICE!!
We have beaten the first mission in our quest to topple the Adversary and lay siege to the Dark Tower! WE FUNDED in ONE HOUR!
Thanks to you and all your help, we have already funded. We had a feeling that there might be a lot of fire for this game, so we came prepared with stretch goals and other coolness for the long days of June as we proceed in this campaign! Check the KS page (or join the discord) for dates and times for our AMAs (on Mondays and Thursday in June), and check out the dates for a live ACTUAL PLAY with designer Chris O'Neill against the team of designers of the RETURN TO DARK TOWER board game (Restoration Games - Rob, Justin, Brian, and Noah).
First STRETCH GOALS Announced
As we progress against the Dark Tower, we hope to open many seals and unlock more stretch goals! We are starting off with some "quality of life" upgrades - form fillable sheets, bookmark ribbons, and cool foil stamping. If we can get to 1000, things start to get a little crazy...
